Nothing beats a cold beer after a hard day of travel. Hanoi's speciality is a sort of home brew which costs about 25 cents US per glass and goes down well with some of the local snacks (we hope it was not dog meat...). The old quarter of Hanoi offers dozens of street side pubs where locals and tourists alike go to enjoy some of the local brew, in a relaxed among the frenzy of hectic Hanoi.
