Khurgan Nuur Lake in the Altai Tavan Bogd National Park in Western Mongolia is just a hop skip and a jump from the Chinese boarder and not too far from the Russian boarder.

 

We stayed here for two nights with a local, Khazak nomadic family. In this video we see our intrepid guide Nurbol who led us into this wilderness and Manu, who joined us with his girl friend Kolja on this 6 day adventure into western Mongolia.
